Our awards system honors the impact of each volunteer’s work with three tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. These levels reflect the scale and significance of their contributions, encouraging continuous action and inspiring greater change.

Our highest community award recognizes volunteers who build and lead long-term initiatives with measurable impact. These leaders tackle real challenges—reaching 100+ people, addressing inequality, or supporting under-resourced groups. This is for those who lead movements, not just moments, and show that youth-led action can change systems.

🥇 GOLD – Research Excellence Award

This top research honor is awarded to authors of exceptional publications that demonstrate in-depth analysis, creativity, and relevance. Whether it's interdisciplinary innovation, policy-oriented work, or research cited beyond CKI, this award celebrates researchers whose work truly stands out and starts conversations.

🥈SILVER – Community Leadership Distinction

Presented to those who lead campaigns or events that engage others and make a tangible difference in their community. Whether it's a mental health workshop, a donation drive, or a cultural awareness event, this award recognizes volunteers who go beyond participation and lead with empathy, vision, and consistency.

🥈 SILVER – Research Communicator Award

Awarded to researchers who go the extra mile to turn complex climate topics into accessible, engaging content. These volunteers bridge the gap between science and action, informing campaigns, inspiring youth, and translating data into stories that matter. This is where knowledge becomes power.

🥉BRONZE – Emerging Community Leader

This award celebrates volunteers who take the first step into leadership, whether by co-leading a small initiative, organizing a local event, or shaping an idea into action. It honors those who demonstrate collaboration, courage, and a strong sense of purpose at the start of their journey. It’s the beginning of something bigger, and a sign of the leader you're becoming.

🥉 BRONZE – Research Contributor Award

This award honors volunteers who write thoughtful, well-researched articles on climate or environmental issues relevant to their community. Whether it’s a short paper or a localized report, your voice and insight help build a shared library of knowledge that empowers other young changemakers.

This prestigious award is for volunteers who lead high-impact campaigns that reach across institutions, whether influencing policy, earning media coverage, or creating partnerships. It reflects a level of civic leadership that makes systems listen and communities stronger.

Changemaker of the Year

In recognition of extraordinary leadership, vision, and impact through youth-led action. This award honors a volunteer who not only envisioned change, but built it, mobilizing others, confronting urgent challenges, and creating lasting difference through courage and initiative.

🥈 SILVER – Advocacy Campaign Leader

Recognizing leaders who design and run advocacy campaigns with purpose and reach, such as petitions, letter-writing efforts, or community events. These campaigns drive visibility, conversation, and action, showing that youth advocacy can be powerful, strategic, and bold.

This award goes to volunteers who help raise awareness about critical issues through actions like info sessions, campaigns, or social media advocacy. Whether you’re speaking up on climate, education, or health, this award celebrates those who use their voice to educate and mobilize others.

Innovation in Action Award

Presented in honor of outstanding creativity, originality, and fearless problem-solving. Your project broke boundaries, redefined impact, and proved that innovative ideas, when led with passion, can inspire real change. You remind us that the future belongs to those who imagine it differently.
